Madill is a bustling little town and the county seat of Marshall County. With a population of around 3,500, it is the largest city in the county and the location of the only Wal-Mart.
The Madill Public School system takes great pride in preparing students for life after school. The Early Childhood Center has been a great asset to the Madill school system- a center designed exclusively for K-2nd grade. The growing community is stretching the school to expand its physical facilities with new buildings at the Middle School and the recently constructed Ag barn at the high school.
A manufacturing town, Madill has several opportunities for jobs producing high quality products. Oklahoma Steel and Wire (a steel mill manufacturing agriculture and industrial steel products), Big Tex and CM Trailers ( a trailer manufacturing company the produces livestock and utility trailers) and WWW Trailers (manufacturing livestock trailers) are a few of the major players in Madill’s economy.
Hwy 70 runs through town and sees a lot of traffic on summer weekends. If you need a place to pass some time, check out our boutiques and shops.
